I am a resident of Florissant Colorado, and in 2008 I found that I had a radon reading of 726.1 pCi/L; it should be less than 4.0 pCi/L.
I had several radon people who called themselves "experts" out to look at the situation. Most of them didn’t care where the pipe that comes up out of the ground was located and wanted to put in two systems, both in the corners of two rooms.
I was not happy having these pipes exposed and did not feel comfortable with the attitudes of these people.
I then contacted another person who told me about Aspen Environment Services. They said, "THEY ARE THE BEST," and they are the people who are called in every time a job goes wrong because Mr. Elkins is an expert at what he does.
After talking on the phone with Mr. Elkins, I knew at once that he was the man for the job. I just knew that if anyone was going to do the job right it was him. I just can’t say enough good things about this man.
He cared where the pipe was installed. He found a closet and hid it in there so it was not unsightly. He cared about how deep he dug with his bare hands to get the pipe deep into the ground to get to the problem. He reduced my extremely high radon levels from above 700 pCi/L to 2.0 pCi/L with one single system.
He showed up on time, and got the job done in two days. if you have any questions he is always there to answer. He has integrity and experience, which is lacking in most businesses today. He is of the old school.
I could have had a cheaper radon expert do the job, which would normally be my style, but with this being a health issue to all in the household, I needed the job done right the first time around. If I had to call in someone else to correct the first job it would have cost me more in the long run.
Mr. Elkins put in the right system;' he is the best, there are no short cuts for this man: it has to be right. I just can’t say enough good things about him.
